Christmas time!

I'm excited.  For the feel and.. general spirit of Christmas around the house.  It'll be the first Christmas Carrie and I will experience 'together' which I thought was pretty neat.  I mean, before the mission, we only spent the summer together.  So that's all we really know right now. :P

My sister Jennie is visiting from Utah, and it's awesome to have her back again!  Some time in the next couple weeks she will bust out her skills to take some fun engagement pictures of Carrie and I.  So far we plan to do it somewhere near Birmingham.  But who knows, any ideas?!  My sister is very talented and absolutely lovezzz taking pictures.  For fun, of people, of whatever!  Just like me.. although her camera pwns any camera I've touched :)  But I'm excited for that.  And I believe Carrie is, as well ;)

I personally don't have much to talk about besides all that.  I'm still keeping my eyes open for a job.. and hoping some place calls :P  I'll also accept any ideas ;)  Although I assume most people reading this blog are from Huntsville!  But hey, it'll work out.  Along with being excited to work (to start saving money, of course!) I'm quite anxious to finally start college..  very, very anxious.  I'm ready to learn things again and be more productive and busy.  It'll be harder to see Carrie, especially after I start working at the same time, but hey, it must be done.  I gotta get that career stuff going!

Happy Holidays folks :)

What is it with the 'tab' button not working in these things?  It doesn't work on Facebook either.  Is 'tab' just not the thing to do these days?  I mean, I can press the space bar 3 to 5 times if I really want to, but..

Anyway, this'll be my first post with non-indented paragraphs. :P

It's only been a couple weeks.  I've noticed that as each day goes by I feel more excited. :D  So much can happen in such a short amount of time!  Carrie and I have talked about so many things.. and yet I know there is still much more to plan and discuss.  I can tell by her constant reminders and comments that she is crazy excited.  She makes me smile. :)

It's really hard to explain how I feel about her.  Ever since we first started hanging out.. I just felt.. excited.  I remember the first time she came over to our house in Wetumpka along with several other friends.  I remember being crushed (that's a fun way of saying liking her I guess) to the point of making her follow me around the house as I got things ready for whatever we were all going to do.  I just felt giddy, alright? :)  Our 'being friends' quickly left us alone as we both realized that we had potential for more.

You could say that potential, along with patience, has lead us to where we are now; I've fallen for her over again.   :)

Alma 37:6

"...by small and simple things are great things brought to pass..."

By small and simple words and actions, a great thing has come to pass in the lives of two very ordinary people. An opportunity to join together in a sacred and eternal connection. A connection. A marriage. A covenant. An eternal friendship, partnership and bond. I have the amazing opportunity to share something so sacred, substantial, and...wonderful with the one man who has brought more joy and motivation to my life than any other man I know. (Not including Christ, of course. :))

Hmm... What a wonderful thing. :)
